Back in New York

I swear, I can’t seem so stay put in LA for more than a few days, can I? Tom and I flew to New York again this week for another Rachael Ray segment and Wolfie’s concert in Madison Square Garden. In fact, Rachael and her husband came with us. So fun.

While there Tom and I went to out to eat and decided to SPLIT our order. Which, as you all know, is KEY. Portions, portions, portions. That’s why it is so great to have a partner on the program – to keep you in check. In fact, I attribute a lot of my success to Tom. Plus, we’re both really competitive and each want to reach our goal first. So, if you can do it with someone you spend a lot of time with, you’re already ahead of the game, in my opinion!

We did a great run in Central Park again with the bench reps. OUCH!! But my thighs are starting to look like this hard work has paid off. Which brings me to my weigh-in. Before I got on the plane, I had 2.2 lbs* to go, which means I lost around a pound last week*. And Thanksgiving’s right around the corner, so we’ll see what choices I make. I feel confident, but I may choose to splurge. I’m not sure yet. So excited to be spending it with Wolfie, friends and family.

I am so close, yet it’s not all I think about. Does that make sense? It’s like my brain is already purging the “weight issue.”

Thank you, brain. It’s SO nice to have a break. And thank you, Jenny. For the freedom to think about other things.
