Week 30 10/04/2007
A Line in My Thigh
You know what I’m talking about…that line that people get in their legs, showing muscle definition. That line is like an Emmy for someone like me. Or like a billboard shouting, ‘look at me! I can wear shorts!’ (If I wanted to, that is).
Well, it finally happened this week. I can actually see that all the hard work from interval training has paid off – not only on the scale, but in my thighs!
So I lost another .4 lbs.*, bring a total to a hair shy of 35 pounds*! You know what that means…
FIVE MORE POUNDS TO GO.
That’s like a watermelon, a bag of potatoes, a couple of Jenny Craig manuals...
I can do this, right? Are you with me?
I hope so, because I’m off to Toronto this weekend for three weeks of filming. But I already have my food order waiting at a Centre up there (where I’ll also do my weigh-ins.) Kathy and I are still talking on the phone every week. And I still have all of you on the message boards, right?
I’ll keep you posted. Geez, what if I reach my goal while I’m in a different country????
